5 fun things to do near Smugglers' Notch Ski Resort besides skiing.

Everyone knows that owning a condo near Smuggs means that you get to enjoy some of the best skiing in the East, but you may not know much about what else you can do in this area. Here are 5 fun things to do near Smugglers Notch Resort.

1) ArborTrek Canopy Adventures

ArborTrek Canopy Adventures is a fun place to zipline, climb, and get through a tree-top obstacle course. It is perfect for someone looking for an all-day adventure, hosting a birthday party, or somebody looking for a team-building event. Be sure to visit ArborTrek next time you are near Smuggs.

2) Martell’s at the Red Fox

Martell’s at the Red Fox is a great local restaurant that has an indoor and outdoor music venue that showcases some of the best local musicians. It also has some of the best wings and burgers anywhere in Vermont. Be sure to check out Martell’s next time you are in the area.

3) Fun Zone 2.0

The Smugglers’ Notch Fun Zone is an indoor play area. The Fun Zone features an indoor climbing wall, a ninja warrior course, an arcade, and much more. They even have a claw machine that you can occasionally win! I highly recommend visiting the Fun Zone next time you are at Smugglers Notch.

4) Water parks at Smuggs

At Smuggs in the summertime, there are two different water parks. One is called the Mountainside Water Playground, and the other is named the Notchville Park. The Mountainside Water Playground has a tube slide known as the Giant Rapid River Ride, a Turtle Mini-Waterslide, and a pool. The Notchville Park has things such as the Lily Pad walk, (not real lily pads), The Notchville Twister Slide, and a pool. Both of these water parks are fun for all ages.

5) Explore The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail.

The Rail Trail is a 93 mile long trail that extends from St. Johnsbury to Swanton. You can walk, bike, snow mobile, and even horseback ride along this trail. Fourtanley, the trail passes near Smuggs so you can easily access it from Cambirgde and Jeffersonville. It is entirely free and is sure to be a place where you will make great memories.
